SERVICES FOR TECHNICAL, ADMINISTRATIVE AND FINANCIAL VERIFICATION OF THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE MULTIPLE DAM PROJECT IN MONTEGRANDE PHASE III. DOMINICAN REPUBLIC.

The Instituto Nacional de Recursos Hidraulicos (INDRHI) oversees the project and it is structured in three phases. The first two phases have already been executed. The third phase, financed by the BCIE, consists of the construction of the dam, with 380 million m3 of water, whose main objectives are floods control, supplying drinking water and agricultural irrigation, and even generate energy in a later stage, or the development of aquaculture and tourism activities.

AIRTIFICIAL, as a Verification firm, advises and reports to the CABEI on the execution of the project and contributes to the verification of compliance with the contractual commitments acquired by the borrower with The Bank to facilitate the process of payments carried out under the loan. It also comprehensively analyses the problems turn up in the project and proposes solutions to protect the interests of the CABEI.

PROJECT MANAGEMENT FOR THE DETAILED DESIGN, CONSTRUCTION WORKS, EQUIPMENT, INSTALLATION, OF THE OPTIMIZATION AND EXPANSION OF EL SALITRE WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT. COLOMBIA.

The Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) is in the northwest of the city of Bogota. It has a primary treatment chemically assisted for an average flow of 4 m3/s. Regarding to the Sewerage Master Plan of Bogota, it’s necessary an extension and optimization of the wastewater treatment plant up to 7.1 m3/s.

The new average design flow extends to 7.1 m3/s with a peak hourly flow of 14 m3/s (dry season) and a maximum flow: 26 m3/s (rainy season).

Population of Bogotá 8,081 x 106 inhabitants.

CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT OF THE NEW AGUILAS/GUALENTIN DESALINATION TREATMENT PLANT (MURCIA). SPAIN.

Supervision, control and monitoring of the construction of the desalination plant and pipelines.

New desalination plant with a capacity of 60 hm3/year

The inlet construction of the new plant will also have enough capacity to provide raw water to the Irrigators Community desalination plant and get a production of 8,4 hm3/year.

Sea outfall for rejecting water.

Pumping stations and pipe network to distribute the water.

SUPERVISION OF WORKS OF SUPPLY AND SANITATION. GROUP 1. CARIBBEAN AREA. COLOMBIA.

The contract included the monitoring and verification of compliance with all administrative, financial and technical requirements, as well as the standards and specifications of the contracts with the – PATRIMONIO AUTONOMO FIDEICOMISO – ASISTENCIA TÉCNICA FINDETER administered by Fiduciaria Bogotá S.A. of the works of supply, aqueducts, sewage and wastewater treatment of the municipalities: San Juan del César, Guajira: 25,587 hab. Santa Marta. 454.860 hab. Sahagun: 137,527 hab. Ocaña: 98,229 hab. And Sincelejo: 279,031 hab.

SUPERVISION OF THE CONSTRUCTION PROJECT FOR THE MULTIPROPOSIT PROJECT OF DRINKING WATER AND IRRIGATION FOR THE MUNICIPALITIES OF BATTLES, PUCARANI AND THE HIGH. BOLIVIA.

The aim of the project is to expand the drinking water supply system in the metropolitan area of the city of El Alto, and to incorporate new water resources and improve the use and access of water for irrigation of the traditional systems, through the implementation of improved water conduction and distribution infrastructure.

Among others, the works of New Khotia Khota Dam, Taypichaca Dam, PTAP of Milluni Bajo, Tupac Katari Irrigation Systems, Khara Khota-Suriquiña, Taypichaca-Suriquiña and Palcoco Taypichaca are supervised.

The population of the involved municipalities is: Battles: 2.000 habitants. Pucarani: 29.379 habitants El Alto: 842.378 habitants.

SUPERVISION OF WORK EXTENSION AND IMPROVEMENT OF DRINKING WATER AND SEWED SYSTEM, STAGE 3 PACHACUTEC PROJECT. PERU.

The project contains the supervision of the construction works and the subsequent start-up of the wastewater treatment plant and of the submarine emissary for discharge of the effluent from the WWTP into the sea, within the macro Pachacutec project. The construction site is in the lower part of the Pachacutec village, in the SUB LOT called Quique III-A in the Ventanilla district, Callao province. The new Pachacutec treatment plant is next to the Ventanilla PTAR (oxidation ponds) currently in operation.

The average flow in the prospected year (20 years) is 37,615.10 m3 / day and the peak hourly flow will be 2.821.675 m3 / h. The population is about 188.000 habitants (280,000 h-eq).

PROJECT WORK MANAGEMENT OF THE CHANNEL SEGARRA-GARRIGUES. SECTION IV OF PK 41+530 TO 62+530. SPAIN.

The main works to be carried out are the following:

  • Technical control of the works.
  • Daily Monitoring of the work development.
  • Measurements and certifications.
  • Monthly Reports on the works development
  • Elaboration of the final work project (As Built)

Length of section work (section iv): 21 km and flow 20 and 15 ms3/s

MONITORING AND CONTROL OF THE WORKS TO THE IRUEÑA DAM (SALAMANCA). SPAIN.

The purpose of this contract is the Control and Surveillance of the construction works of the lrueña dam.

The activities carried out are qualitative and quantitative control, for the inspection and monitoring of the construction project; quality control of the materials used for the work; quantitative control of the different units of work; the preparation to close out the project and; environmental monitoring of the works.

 

The dam is an arch-gravity dam with a maximum height above foundation of 75,0 m and development coronation length of 418 m.
