Airtificial signs a contract for 3 million with Textron to manufacture specialized vehicle structures
Airtificial reinforces its relationship with another mobility giant, which joins its client portfolio. Textron, a quoted American multi-industrial company, valued at 14,000 million dollars, with companies such as Bell, Cessna, Beechcraft, E-Z-GO, Arctic Cat, among others, and a team of 35,000 people around the world, once again relies on Airtificial for the manufacture of its specialized vehicles. Airtificial, the only listed Spanish company in artificial intelligence, has just signed its second contract, for a total of approximately three million euros spread over the next three years, with Textron for the mass production of structures for specialized vehicles. The Company repeats with Textron and reinforces its position as a Tier 2 and reference supplier, after signing a contract a year ago for the manufacture, production and assembly of parts for specialized vehicles.
This morning, Airtificial’s board of directors approved a capital increase of no less than 15 million euros, fully guaranteed by Black Toro Capital and the main shareholders in order not to slow down the pace of the Company’s growth, mainly in the Intelligent Robots business unit, recently included in the CEPYME 500 index. Airtificial with its Intelligent Robots unit has been considered by the Spanish Confederation of Small and Medium Enterprises as one of the Spanish companies leading the business growth, both for its results and its capacity to generate added value, employment, innovation and international projection.
Madrid, May 9, 2019.- Airtificial, the only Spanish company listed for artificial intelligence, is promoting an Efficiency and Optimization Plan that focuses on profitability and the generation of operating cash that is already bearing fruit, as evidenced by the evolution of its financial figures. Thus, the Company closed the first quarter of the year, its first full operating quarter after the ringing of the bell on November 26, in positive terms, with revenues of 21 million euros and an EBITDA of 0.4 million euros. Half of the turnover comes from the Intelligent Robots business line, which has managed to enter 10.8 million in three months with the marketing of collaborative robotics for the automotive sector. In addition, the order book, already signed for the rest of 2019, exceeds 63 million which gives excellent visibility for the whole year.
Madrid, 28 February 2019. Artificial concludes its first fiscal year with positive results and a reinforced financial structure that serves as a platform to drive its growth. The technology company specialising in collaborative robotics and intelligent structures has achieved a net profit of 1.1 million euros, revenues of 43.7 million euros and EBITDA of 5.3 million euros, 12 percent of its turnover. Airtificial has seen its shares revalue 25 percent since its collaborative robot Aibell rang the bell in the continuous market on the Madrid Stock Exchange last November.
Madrid, January 22, 2019. The future is reached by road. Airtificial sends the capsule of Hyperloop Transportation Technologies (HyperloopTT) to the research and development center that the American company has in Toulouse for the final tests of the ultra-fast train prototype in a surgical engineering transfer operation. Airtificial employs, at its plant in El Puerto de Santa María, two high-precision cranes to load the 32 meters in length, almost three meters high and 5,500 kilos of weight of the intelligent structure in special transport and conditioned for a trip of three days to the aforementioned French city. The capsule is equipped with 72 sensors, connected to each other by optical fiber, which transmit information in real time to a central computer about the behavior of the structure. Likewise, for the transfer, accelerometers and vibration sensors have been incorporated to guarantee the good handling of the capsule throughout its transfer.
Madrid December 3rd, 2018. Airtificial signs a new manufacturing agreement with Hyperloop Transportation Technologies (HTT). The only Spanish company listed on the stock market dedicated to artificial intelligence is strengthened as a strategic partner of the United States based HTT . Airtificial has 19.9 million euro contract with HyperloopTT for the manufacture, once the analysis of the prototype installed in Toulouse and also manufactured by Airtificial has ended, of five kilometres of tube through which hyperloop capsules will run. With this, four agreements have been signed between both strategic partners for the manufacture of two capsules, two mock-ups of capsules and two tubes.
Airtificial manufactures the fairing for the in-flight refuelling ‘pole’ and cabin parts for Airbus.
Madrid, 7 December 2018. Airtificial continues taking height and adds two new contracts with Airbus. The only Spanish artificial intelligence technology company listed on the continuum has signed two new contracts with Airbus for the manufacture of a complex in-flight refuelling part for the A330MRTT aircraft as well as structural parts for the cockpit of the C295 model. The contracts have a term that is linked to the useful life of the aircraft themselves, which, on average, is about 25 years. These two new contracts represent a qualitative and quantitative leap for the Company as the preferred supplier of parts and structures in composite materials for the world’s aeronautical giant.
Madrid, 26 November 2018. Aibell, the robot of Airtificial, has starred today, in the Madrid Stock Exchange, the act of ringing the bell of the Company. This is the first time that an automaton has carried out this action on the Spanish Stock Exchange. Inypsa changes its name and, after concluding its merger process by absorption of Carbures, it is now called Airtificial and listed with a new ticker: AI. Airtificial has a free float of around 40 percent. The company needed a name that recognized its new positioning as a technological company of artificial intelligence with adn of industry 4.0, based on collaborative robots, sensorized structures and the respective developments of applied engineering.
