Airtificial sings a 5.3 million contract for the construction of a refinery in Mexico

  • Airtificial signs an agreement with KBR, an American engineering and construction company, for 5.9 million dollars (over 5.3 million euros) for the development of engineering services for Phase 1 of a new PEMEX refinery in Mexico.
  • The Company has been chosen thanks to the know-how of the Civil Works unit in projects of special complexity in oil & gas and its capacities in structures and tubes.

Madrid, December 19th, 2019. Airtificial strengthens its position in infrastructures in Latin America. The Company signs a contract for more than 5.3 million euros with KBR, a US company specialising in engineering and construction, for the design of the main buildings and facilities of the new Dos Bocas refinery of the Mexican hydrocarbons’ leader, PEMEX.

Airtificial will design the main buildings and infrastructure facilities, interconnection pipe racks, railroad tracks, vehicular bridges, access and interior roads and drainage systems. These works will be carried out under a strict and tight execution program.

KBR hires Airtificial for its expertise in specialized engineering projects for project design, site management and supervision with extensive experience in the oil, gas, electric power, marine, industrial and infrastructure sectors among others.
