Our president, Rafael Contreras, presented Airtificial as a success case in the ‘SmartDay, Andalucia en acción’ on December 17. Contreras explained the company’s development process, from its embryo as a startup born at the university in 1999 to its listing on the continuous market as the only artificial intelligence listed on the Spanish Stock Exchange and its current growth potential due to its own technological-industrial developments.

Merger, which began as an academic project, in which we wanted to carry out the implementation of a management system for the technical aerospace reception of composite materials, today is the only Spanish listed technology company specializing in artificial intelligence, through collaborative robotics, sensorized structures and the respective developments of applied engineering and has operational presence in 14 countries of the main markets of Europe, America and Asia.

“The success of Airtificial responds to three factors; technology, to solve the problems of the automotive, civil engineering and aerospace sectors and creating new spaces to incorporate it; the internationalization of the Company as a global company, which is part of the DNA of Airtificial; and diversification of activity, as a result of the two previous ones. From here come our work of prototyping and exploration of composite products for the sectors of Automotive and Civil Works, for example, when the main original operating line was the Aeronautics,” said Rafael Contreras.

In his speech, our President, exposed as a startup born at the University of Cadiz, in 1999, which begins as an academic project, in which we wanted to carry out the implementation of a management system for the technical aerospace reception of composite materials, today is the only listed Spanish technology specialized in artificial intelligence, through collaborative robotics, sensorized structures and the respective developments of applied engineering and has operational presence in 14 countries of the main markets of Europe, America and Asia.
